ATC gathering
Last summer (2007) Confederation Center in Charlottetown, PEI,Canada hosted a gathering
of 55 people to exchange their ATC's. I have never made 55 of anything before, so it was quite
a chore but we had a couple of months to do it. Making them was really fun and I used many
different things, such as tyvek, wire, painted paper towels, dyed or painted bounce sheets,
thread painting, applique and other methods. It was quite interesting to see all the various
mediums that people used. I think I was the only quilter there. And I havent made any since
but no doubt I will do them again sometime.
